Inspired by the birthplace of Chloé founder Gaby Aghion, Nomade Lumière d’Égypte Eau de Parfum takes us on a journey along the Nile, where the majestic blue lotus flower thrives. Native to the area, this day-blooming water lily opens at dawn and closes in the afternoon, exuding a soft floral fragrance. Opening with notes of a blue lotus accord, this Chloé perfume exudes an aquatic, floral airiness in the top notes, while sensual jasmine reveals a captivating, velvety warmth. To ground the fragrance, pink berry blends with elemi essential oil to reveal notes of a kyphi accord – a nod to the ancient Egyptian art of perfumery. Building on the scent of Nomade Nuit d’Égypte, the kyphi accord here is a unique blend of cinnamon bark, sandalwood and myrrh that rounds off this luminous perfume for women.
To create Nomade Lumière d’Égypte, Cécile Matton was inspired by the magical landscape of Egypt, from the refreshing waters of the Nile and the lush vegetation of its banks to the heat of the desert beyond. Everything is illuminated by the Egyptian sunlight, which is beautifully reflected in this final chapter of the Chloé Nomade story. The iconic Nomade perfume bottle is adorned with golden accents, while the ribbon knotted around its neck is a new shade of dark blue.
